However, with many of our services, the real cost is the outcome of fatal and embarrassing errors, not addressing the objectives and performing insufficient analysis to make informed decisions. One of the key benefits of our specific service is the independent and objective advice you will receive - we pride ourselves on our independence and have no hidden agenda to sell you additional products or services.

We provide very specialised, unique and high quality services and our fees are not contingent on the outcome of any transaction or event, ensuring that we maintain complete independence. However we price our services reasonably to ensure that clients always get value for money. Pricing is determined on a case by case basis.

A:

Our reviews are both technical and strategic in nature. In addition to accuracy and weaknesses, we focus on issues such as efficiency, effectiveness, robustness, integrity and overall 'fit for purpose' of the analysis. We consider overall objectives and risk factors as well as providing advice on improvements & enhancements.

How does your service differ from what my accountant or financial planner can provide?

The simple answer is that we are concerned solely with financial analysis, whereas other advisers are not. We do not profess to be technical experts in any other areas such as tax, general accounting, auditing, financial planning or legal issues and we certainly do not compete or take the place of your other advisers - we are experts in financial analysis and financial decision making.

We provide a wide range of financial education, with a focus on providing attendees with practical and useful knowledge and skills. We do not get caught up on theory and esoteric topics, and most of our content is not taught in schools and universities, even though there is a desperate need for this content.

We fill an important gap in providing education that is not covered by traditional institutions (schools and universities).

Why do you offer training in spreadsheeting but not other Microsoft Office applications?

Our focus is on financial education including financial analysis. Spread sheeting is a fundamental part of this and so we have significant expertise in this area. We are not a IT training company nor are we a desktop training company and so other Microsoft products do not fit into our expertise and niche area.

Attendees are provided with different materials depending on the nature of the course. Also some courses are more practical in nature than others.

Attendees will receive a certificate of completion for each course and we can confirm your attendance at the course with employers or potential employers.

Where are training courses held?

A:

In line with our mission of providing flexible solutions to our clients, we do not bound ourselves to any one particular location. Seminars and public courses are generally held in capital cities (mainly Melbourne and Sydney) and corporate training courses are generally held on location. We also run courses overseas (mainly south east Asia).

I am interested in teaching one or more training courses?

A:

We only use instructors of the highest quality, and it is mandatory for all instructors to be an expert in their field, have significant practical experience and also be a competent presenter (generally our instructors have had many years of presenting to large groups professionally). Do you offer any online training courses?

A:

No, our research has indicated that students generally don't learn well from online courses, and many times do not even complete them. Additionally, our face to face courses provide attendees with the benefits of being able to ask questions and contribute, and also many of our attendees enjoy the networking opportunities.
